The present Muslim community is a house that is built from straw and erected on the sand. They are failing to do their obligations like the practicing of the Islamic constitution. This is a common problem in the Islamic Ummat of today. Different Islamic organizations are vying with one another to redeem the heathen (?) instead of altogether doing the job with unity. Even the small Cagayan de Oro City was not spared; it was afflicted by the common sickness of these ambitious Islamic leaders climbing for fame, power and glory.

Muslims of different races are practicing tribalism which is on any ways has no room for the teachings of Islam. Our fellow Maranao’s, ther Tausug , the Maguindanao’s and other majority Muslim ethnic group’s including the Balik Islam or the Muslim reverts which ought to lead and become a model of conduct among Muslims seems to behave foolishly and not always innocently, they are naïve. They feel envious whenever one of their brothers excelled in any field. All of these people are claiming to be Muslims and yet…

It was during these times when the Khaira Ummah Fraternal Organization (basing on the principle of the Islamic brotherhood) was established. We become a Muslim only yesterday. Last 10 or even 50 years is after al ‘only yesterday’ in the human history. The Khaira Ummah at first was only composed of Reverts, the new Muslim youth, WE, who were like helpless children being exposed with the problems of disunity, seeing the environment of some unpotential leaders and a chaotic Muslim nation.
